Enchanted IncKatie Chandler always heard that New York was an amazing city, but this girl from Texas didn’t exactly realize what she was about to witness until she lived there. Wherever she looked at, there was always something weird and strange, and Katie was afraid that she would go insane.

Suddenly, Katie got a job offer from Magic, Spells, and Illusions, Inc., a company that produced spells for the world of magic. From then on, she realized that magic was real; her supervisor who was a monster, fairies (yes, with wings) around the city, until guys who were turned into frogs. Everything was magical.

She came to live in New York with her friends, Gemma and Marcia, in an apartment. Even though they were Katie’s best friends, she was not allowed to tell them anything about her new world. That was the only requirement for her job. How long could she keep these magical secrets from her best fiends?

Note: This book blends it for those who love romance and fantasy books. I have read quite a lot of stories with magical creatures in it, and I must admit this is one of my favorites.

Princess on the Brink

Author      : Meg Cabot

Published : 2007

Princess on the BrinkPrincess Mia was one step closer to her graduation day out of high school. She was no longer the leader of the student council (as Lily, her best friend replaced her) but her problems didn’t end there. After she hardly passed the Algebra and Geometry, she had to face Precalculus! It wouldn’t help her lead Genovia much in the future, she always thought, but she had to anyway.

And THEN, again, Lilly, nominated her to be the leader of the student council one more time. Oh my God, did nobody remember that Mia spent all the money of the student council last year?

But those things were almost insignificant compared to the big surprise that Mia received: her boyfriend, Michael, were going to Japan for a year to make a robot that could operate on human. *long distance relationship wreck alertttt*.

Anyway, I think this is yet another fun, light, fluffy young-adult romance written by Meg Cabot. For readers out there who love The Princess Diaries series, or other works by Cabot, I recommend you guys to add this one on to your list.
